The Beech Hill is situated in a stunning Lake side location on the banks of Lake Windermere. The hotel is built into the hillside with terraced gardens leading down to the Lake shore and our private jetties. We have 58 bedrooms in total. Classic rooms are en-suite with bath and shower and most offer at least a partial Lake view. Select rooms have a feature bed, en-suite facilities and guarentee a full Lake view. Select plus rooms are as the Select rooms but are en-suite with spa bath and have patio doors to the garden terrace. Premier rooms are our largest rooms with four poster beds, doors to the garden terrace and are en-suite with corner spa bath and seperate shower, fresh flowers, bath robes and mineral water are provided in your room on arrival. Our restaurant has beautiful panoramic views across the Lake to the fells beyond and offers a mouthwatering four course menu of local and seasonally available produce. Our restaurant team have been awarded the accolade of 2 AA rosettes for quality food and service. Our menu is complimented by an extensive wine list, offering wines from around the world. Dining at The Beech Hill is an experience not to be missed. We offer great leisure facilities including a large indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and solarium. Our jetties are also available for free mooring to all of our guests. We also offer Wedding and honeymoon packages on request.
Directions
By Road: Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36 and take the A591 to Windermere. Turn left into Windermere and towards Bowness and the Bay, and continue onto the A592 towards Newby Bridge. The hotel is four miles from Bowness-on-Windermere. By Rail: Oxenholme station is on the main Glasgow to Euston line. From here connections can be made to Windermere station and we a 15 minutes away in a taxi.
