Grade II listed comfortable family run guest house, ideally situated beside the river in Ross-on-Wye, yet within short walk of all the town's faciities. Ideal base for touring or for business. All rooms have lovely river views. Well behaved dogs welcome. Homely accommodation. Twelve restaurants/hotels/pubs which serve food nearby. In a lovely AONB. Particularly good for fishermen, canoeists and walkers. AA 3*. Full English or vegetarian breakfasts. Special dietary requirements catered for. Early breakfasts if required and packed lunches available. Probably the best location in town. All rooms have white starched linen on the beds, are ensuite, c/h, TV and hospitality tray. Quiet road, so a good night's sleep. Friendly and welcoming. Particularly recommended by our single lady guests. We have 7 rooms available, including two 4 poster rooms for a romantic stay. We welcome all guests, but because of the difficulties associated with our Grade II status and having no ground floor rooms, we regret that we have difficulty in accommodating guests with severe mobility problems.
From London, take the Swindon exit off the M4 and follow signs on Gloucester ringroad to Ross (A40). From the North, take M5, M50 and Ross is at the end of the M50.

Don’t tell anyone, but travel companies are selling off holidays online in last-minute auctions — at up to 50% off.
Want to go on holiday, but don’t have a lot of money? Don’t worry. Travel companies want you to go on holiday too, and they don’t have a lot of customers. Which means one thing: discounts. Increasingly, they’re resorting to under-the-radar methods such as online auctions to shift unsold packages.
