Directions
Whichever direction you approach York from, you will arrive at the outer ring road. Take the shortest circuit to the York - Thirsk A19 north junction. Follow this road for about two miles towards the city centre. The hotel is located on the right side of the road. Frequent trains are operated to York from London, Peterborough, Newcastle - upon - Tyne, Edinburgh and Glasgow by Great North Eastern Railways; from Birmingham, Bristol, the West Country and South Wales by Virgin Cross - Country; and from Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds by Regional Railways North East. For all railway enquiries ring (08457) 484950 (day or night). York railway station is located just outside the city walls. Taxi\'s are available from outside the exit of the station. The journey to the hotel should take about five minutes and cost about £3.00
