We are in an ideal location for activities such as walking, cycling, mountain biking and horse riding. Canal and riverside walks, site of historical interest, spectacular viewpoints, lakes and reservoirs and nature reserves are nearby. The grounds extend to over three acres, with magnificent views of the Beacons and Neath Valley and provide ample parking for coaches and larger functions.

M4 J32 Cardiff (approx 30 Miles) Exit M4 at junction 32 Exit roundabout onto A470 to Merthyr Tydfill. Merge onto A470 via the ramp to Merthyr Tydfil. Go through 4 roundabouts. At Merthyr Bypass, take the 1st exit onto A465/Heads of the Valleys Rd Go through 1 roundabout, At A4059, take the 3rd exit onto Brecon Rd. The signs to the Ty Newydd Country Hotel will be seen in approx half a mile on the left hand side. Aberdare Train Station (approx 5.3 Miles) Head northwest on A4059 toward A4233. Go through 3 roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A4059/Hirwaun Rd. At A4059, take the 1st exit onto A465, at A4059, take the 3rd exit onto A4059. Turn left and left again. Destination will be on the left. Central Cardiff (approx 31 Miles) Head east on A4161/Duke St toward A4161/Kingsway Ffordd y Brenin. Continue to follow A4161. Continue on A470/North Rd, continue to follow A470. Go through 4 roundabouts. At Merthyr Bypass, take the 1st exit onto A465/Heads of the Valleys Rd. Continue to follow A465. Go through 2 roundabouts, At A4059, take the 3rd exit onto A4059. Turn left and left again. Destination will be on the left. Swansea (approx 25 Miles) Head SW on B4290/The Kingsway to Picton Ln. At r'bout, take 1st exit on Dillwyn St. Continue on W Way, Ffordd y Gorllewin, turn left at A4067/Oystermouth Rd. Continue to follow A4067, continue on A483/Quay Parade. Follow A483, at the r'bout, take 1st exit on B4290. At the r'bout, take 2nd exit on A465 heading to Neath Abbey/Castell-Nedd/Merthyr Tydfil/Neath. Go through 2 r'bouts. At A4059, take 1st exit on A4059, Turn left & left again. Destination will be on the left.
