Established as a Hotel in 1670, the West Arms holds AA and RAC 2 star ratings and is mentioned in Welsh Rarebits, Hotels of Distinction as well as many other hotel guides After all of our hard work, we have just been awarded by the AA the 2nd rosette for fine dining and also been upgraded to a 2 * 76% hotel, one of the highest in the UK. Roaring Inglenook log fires, low ceilings and undulating floors plus an award winning restaurant having two RAC ribbons and two AA rosettes, plus entries in the Good Food Guide and Which? magazine. Head chef Grant Williams produces his menus with loving care, creativity and local produce whenever possible. Supper can be taken either in the restaurant, or round the blaze of the log fire in our cosy bar

The West Arms is located in stunning rural Welsh countryside south of Llangollen known all over the world for the international musical Eisteddfod Approaching Llangollen on the A5 (north or south) watch for signs to Chirk. From Chirk town centre take the B4500 west for Glyn Ceiriog From Glyn Ceiriog keep to the B4500 and head south west for Llanarmon D.C. which is roughly 7 miles from Chirk
