Description:

At one time the hotel was the stables and kennels of the local manor house and Oxfordshire hunt. Set in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, visiting us will certainly not put you "in the doghouse".

On the contrary, you can rely on the hotel´s comforts and our friendly service. Relax, enjoy the peace and quiet of the rural surroundings and the beauty of the countryside whether you´re our guest for a brief visit or for a longer stay.

Food and Drink
Enjoy a drink in the Old English style beamed ceiling bar, in front of a roaring log fire or on the patio. Then dine in the charming Purdies Dining Room or our Conservatory where every attention to detail is taken. As you would expect we pride ourselves on good food, from light bar meals to our sophisticated main menu you can be sure of the highest standards of service.

Our wines include traditional old wines through to the new world style, so whether you´re a serious wine buff or you simply enjoy a glass of what you fancy, we feel confident we can offer you the perfect accompaniment to our food menu.
