Description:

Established in 1882, the Fowey Hotel is a haven of tranquillity resting on the bank of the Fowey River Estuary. This grand lady, a tribute to great Victorian architecture, majestically watches over the lazy yachts and quaint fishing boats as they creep in and out of the mouth of the river.

The Fowey Hotel is a mere 20 minute drive from the spectacular Eden Project, hailed as a ?living theatre of plants and people?. This unique attraction illustrates perfectly that a whole new world can be grown from the seed of imagination.

It is the perfect base from which to visit not only Eden but also the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the China Clay museum and many of Cornwall?s best attractions.

Dogs and non-exotic pets are welcome by arrangement at a charge of ?7 per night, excluding food. Dogs are permitted in guest rooms only, not in public areas.


Directions:

The ancient town of Fowey is situated on the south coast of Cornwall. Local roads have improved greatly in recent years and access to the rest of England is easily managed by the A30 which provides almost 100% dual carriageway from Bodmin to the M5 at Exeter. The Hotel is accessed by car via Daglands Road.
