The Exmoor Manor hotel is a 17th Century farm house with the old adjoining cow barn serving as a pub, The Beggars Roost Inn. The semi detached arrangement is set in about 3 acres of land with a beautiful Cedar tree dominating the aspect from the front of the house. With plenty of parking space and a fantastic baronial hall above the pub on the 1st floor of the barn, we can cater for almost all occassions from cricket club tours to small wedding rececptions to medievel recitals to house parties.
Whilst your only 1 mile from Lynton & Lynmouth, you have everything you need up on the hill over looking both villages. An ideal starting point for walkers, family breaks or just a quiet bolt hole, the Exmoor Manor hotel is very well situated. Minehead, Dunster, Dulverton or Porlock, not to mention all the hidden delights of the Exmoor national park itself like the Tarr steps or Dunkery Beacon are all easily accessed from our location.
With only seven individually decorated rooms, you'll find the hospitality here home from home and the experience should bring you back habitually.
Directions:
From Junction 27 on M5 take the A361 towards Barnstaple. After 23 miles, at Aller Cross Roundabout (by Little Chef) turn right onto the A399 towards Combe Martin.
After 12 miles, turn right at Blackmore Gate onto the A39 towards Lynton and Lynmouth.
On reaching the petrol station at Barbrook keep straight on the A39 and we are less than a mile ahead on the left.
