The Elmfield is a boutique family hotel housed in a lovingly restored Victorian villa, combining contemporary style with a classic twist. In the main building there is a fully licensed bar, dining room, and games room with pool table, and the comfortable family lounge transforms into a cosy cinema in the evening. Nestled in the peaceful acre of The Elmfield gardens, is the pool house with heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and mini-gym.

Guests at The Elmfield have full use of the facilities, plus privileged access to many local attractions. A stay can include in-room treatments such as aromatherapy massage, an evening out whilst the children are looked after by an experienced Nanny, and a fabulous walk or day at the beach with fully packed picnic hamper.

To keep the young active minds occupied, whilst parents relax, during the school holidays, activities and workshops are organised for children of all ages (advance booking maybe required) including pizza parties, music and drama workshops, and film making for older children.

The Elmfield dining room, offers a great home cooked menu, using locally sourced produce that is organic where possible. Our family dining philosophy encourages the whole family to eat together, however babysitting is easily arranged for a grown-up dinner for two, at one of the fabulous restaurants with easy walking distance.

Directions:

From Barnstaple (A361): On entering Ilfracombe at the first set of traffic lights turn left towards sea front, then at the next set of traffic lights turn left and left again. This brings you into Torrs Park. Proceed up the hill, and we are located at the top. There are two approaches to the Hotel, one is opposite Norbury House the second is opposite Upper Torrs.

From Combe Martin (A399): At the second set of traffic lights in Ilfracombe High Street turn right into Northfield Road. At the next set of traffic lights go straight across and immediately turn left into Torrs Park. We are at the top of the hill on the left. There are two approaches to the Hotel, one is opposite Norbury House the second is opposite Upper Torrs
