The Lostwithiel Hotel, Golf and Country Club offers you a friendly, comfortable and relaxed environment for the duration of your stay.

Set within extensive grounds in the small town of Lostwithiel, near St. Austell and Bodmin, in Cornwall, the hotel inhabits converted old Cornish Barns, retaining the original charm of the mellowed stone and beamed ceilings.

Each of our spacious and individually designed bedrooms are furnished with a colour television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathroom; providing a natural haven for the weary traveller.

The hotel offers 3 star accommodation and has a total of 27 rooms available to guests. Discounted rates for children depending on their age.

Our Black Prince restaurant, named after the first Duke of Cornwall, offers imaginative menus crafted from a range of fresh local produce and the Sports Bar offers a friendly atmosphere and impressive views from its balconies.

We are one of the closest hotels to the pioneering Eden Project, drawing crowds from all over the globe to see the indoor rainforest and exotic plant life featured there. We are only minutes away from the enchanting Lost Gardens of Heligan, historic Lanhydrock House with Gardens and the Pine Lodge Gardens.

Whether looking for short term business accommodation, golfing holiday or longer family break, we can guarantee that this Cornish hotel offers no better location to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.

We have an attractive indoor heated swimming pool suitable for all ages. The pool is 25 foot in length with a maximum depth of 1.8 metres and Roman steps at the shallow end. The pool is monitored by closed circuit television for your personal safety and security.

18 Hole Golf Course
Established in 1991 this Cornish course is just under 6,000 yards and and is a par 72 course, suitable for both the accomplished player and beginner.


Directions:

We are just off the A390 on the outskirts of Lostwithiel, Liskeard side, just pick up the brown tourist sign.

From \"England\" M5 to Exeter, and A30 (65 miles of 95% dual carriage way) to Bodmin/Lostwithiel exit. Either, follow into Bodmin, pick up Lostwithiel sign there, follow until you come to T junction with A390. Take direction Liskeard, drive through Lostwithiel, and as you leave the town, spot the brown signpost to the left.

OR...
...the scenic route, exit A30 as normal; 1st left (follow NT Lanhydroc brown signs most of the way); left at T junction; over a roundabout crossing over A30; right at 400 yards; follow until small left turn \"Respryn\"; straight down past Lanhydrock House back door; cross the ancient bridge over the Fowey River; next right \"Lostwithiel\"; along the lane some way; at the cross roads, turn right \"Duchy Nursery\"; keep going ......you will find the course first, then our entrance
