Formerly a Victorian school this wonderful grade II listed hotel is the perfect place to stay on business whilst visiting Swindon for business, pleasure or shopping.
Swindon is central location to visit the many Wiltshire attractions. You will enjoy the peace and quite of the School House Hotel in the Wiltshire countryside yet we are only 10 minutes away from junction16 of the M4 motorway. A host of attractions are within easy travelling distance from the hotel; Longleat, Bath, Cheltenham, Badminton, Berkeley, The Cotswolds, Kemble Airfield and Sudeley Castle.
Comfortable large rooms with views towards The Ridgeway or The Cotswolds are all ensuite with modern facilities including free WiFi, meeting facilities and transfers to and from airports and station. All visitors will appreciate our location and look forward to returning at the end of the day for a drink in the bar, a light meal or a candlelit dinner in the Brasserie. Log fires will be burning in Winter, on the terrace we will be serving drinks and delicious food in the Summer.

From Jct. 16 of the M4, take the A3102 to Swindon.
At the first roundabout turn left onto Whitehill Way.
Then turn left at the next mini roundabout onto Hook Street.
Follow this road, pass Lydiard Park, several farms and cattle grids.
The School House Hotel is located 100 yards past Hook cemetary.
The School House Hotel and Resaturant is located in Hook, a rural village in The Lydiards.
Wooton Bassett is to the South and the Cotswolds start to the North. The main local attractions are Lydiard House and Park, St. Mary's church, Lydiard Tregoze and the Wiltshire countryside.
