Formerly a splendid private house, the Mary Arden Inn dates back to the 1700s. You may recognise the name Mary Arden as William Shakespeare´s mother. Standing opposite Mary Arden´s house, the hotel is ideally located for exploring Stratford with all its heritage and history. The hotel has an excellent a la carte menu complemented by an imaginative wine list and a selection of ales, served in the comfortable lounge bar with an open fireplace.
