Little personal touches are what made Hotel Húsafell in Iceland special. When the front desk staff noticed me leave for the second time in the middle of the night hoping to see the Northern Lights, they kindly offered to give me a wake-up call if anything happened so I could get some rest. The server at the onsite restaurant was so attentive and was happy to let us enjoy our dessert, still artistically plated, delivered back at our room.
